Holly uses her personal story of sexual violence as the only known survivor of the railroad serial killer to impact, inspire, and motivate others. In 1997, Resendiz attacked Holly and her boyfriend in Lexington, Kentucky. Holly was raped, beaten, stabbed, and left for dead. Her boyfriend was killed. Resendiz killed more than 15 people throughout the United States. Holly speaks about her attack, her recovery, the investigation, the manhunt, her testimony, the execution, and her life since. She has a unique ability to answer questions off the cuff and interact with the audience in a way that many survivors cannot.
